Who we are

Badgie is a mobile app made by OtterSpark (Nhon Nguyen). This policy explains what information Badgie handles and why. Questions can be sent to support@otterspark.xyz.

Your cards stay on your device

The cards you make, including names, photos, codes, themes and stickers, are stored locally on your phone. We do not upload your cards to our servers unless you choose a feature that does so, such as sharing a card link when that feature becomes available.

Information we collect

• Crash and diagnostic data, such as error reports, device model, operating system version and app version, collected through Sentry so we can find and fix bugs.
• Purchase information from the Apple App Store or Google Play, such as product identifiers and subscription status, processed through RevenueCat so we can unlock what you bought. We never see your payment card details.
• Messages you send to support@otterspark.xyz, including your email address and anything you attach.
• If you choose to share a card link in the future, the card image and the text on that card are uploaded so the link can work. You can delete a shared card from the app at any time.

Camera and photos

Badgie asks for camera access only to scan a QR code or barcode onto your card, and for photo access only when you pick a picture for a card. Images and codes are processed on your device. Badgie does not record audio.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent personal information.
• We do not show third-party ads or use advertising trackers.
• We do not collect your precise location.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

How we use information

• To run the app and unlock in-app purchases.
• To diagnose crashes and improve reliability.
• To answer support requests.
• To prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run Badgie: Apple and Google (app distribution and payments), RevenueCat (purchase management), Sentry (crash reporting) and Cloudflare (website and shared card hosting). They process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

Cards on your device are deleted when you delete them or uninstall Badgie. Crash reports are kept for a limited period and then removed. To ask about or delete any data we hold about you, email support@otterspark.xyz.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Badgie changes. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
